Overview of our offers for the use of Botox

The botulinum toxin type A is an active ingredient from the group of muscle relaxants, which is used for the temporary treatment of facial wrinkles. The effect is reversible after several months. The toxin is produced by Bacterium Clostridium botulinum and is the strongest currently known neurotoxin.

In its effect, it blocks the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine from cholinergic nerve endings and thus leads to relaxation of the skeletal muscles. Botulinum toxin A is used in very small doses in aesthetic medicine for wrinkle injections. The product is injected into the muscle, whereby the skin tightening effect only occurs a few days later. The effect is reversible and lasts up to eight months. Indications such as hyperhidrosis (increased sweating) in the armpits, hands, soles of the feet, treatment of migraines and headaches are extensively discussed in the course offered.
